November 21, 2009, New York - New York base artist Scotto Mycklebust is hosting a fund-raising benefit and affordable art sale to help local artists this holiday season. The benefit and art sale is one way a group of local artists are reaching out in this difficult economic time for support and a way to sell their works. 

The Art sale features works on paper by a group of seven local artists. The artworks are priced affordable for the holidays and make a prefect gift to collection and add to your home decor.

The party will feature a performance by Murray Weinstock, a New York composer, singer/session musician. He has recorded and toured with Manhattan Transfer, Richie Havens and John Sebastian. September 29, 2009, New York City - New York based artist Scotto Mycklebust is opening his art studio to the public as part of the Chelsea Arts district fall event High Line Open Studios 09. Over 100 Chelsea artists will open their studios to celebrate the new High Line Park in West Chelsea.

To kick off the event, Scotto Mycklebust will host an opening reception and party on Thursday, October 15, 2009, 6-8 p.m.

March 15, 2009, New York City - New York artist Scotto Mycklebust will relocate his office and studio to the Chelsea Arts district.  Mycklebust will be moving from his Tribeca location to the West Chelsea Arts Building. 

Mycklebust is excited about the new space, which he called “perfect” for his needs.  A wall of large windows will provide abundant natural light

 "The new studio has a great energy to it which could foster a new body of work,” he said. “I will be located in the center of the Chelsea galleries district, which will provide many more opportunities to show and market my art.”

March 3, 2009, New York City –Artist Scotto Mycklebust is pleased to announce an open house at his new Chelsea studio.  On March 7, he will join in the Artist Open Studios at West Chelsea Arts Building, organized as part of the 2009 Armory Arts Week.  Mycklebust will welcome friends, collectors, and art enthusiasts into his beautiful new space.

The Artist Open Studios tour invites visitors to walk through private studios, speak with artists about their work, and experience environments where art is conceived and created.
